The Kaponga Tragedy.
Edtham, June 3. At the inquest on Rollins, the Swiss farm hand, who was fatally injured near Kaponga on Saturnight, the jury found that Carl Schicker killed John Rollins, but added a rider that Schicker struck the fatal blow in self defence during a quarrel. Charles Schicker was brought before the Court on a charge of the murder of John Rollin. The case was adjourned until 10th inst., the police making no objection. Accused was admitted to bail in his own recognisance of and two sureties of ,£2OO each.
