G. G. Punch.
Mr E. Shep. Dixon, with his customary enterprise, has, after several months’ experimenting, succeeded in producing a beverage, which those have had the privilege of sampling predict will take front rank in its own particular fine. The beverage alluded to is known as “G. G. Punch.” There art several kinds of Punch on the market at the present time and it has been Mr F. Shep. Dixon’s ambition to place something before the public which will excel and at the same time be a credit to Palmerston North, aud it is through enterprise of this kind that our town is fast becoming a i the Chicago of New Zealand. Mt Dixon has had large additions made to his factory for the manufacture of G.G. Punch, and haspecial facilities for producing thi beverage and forwarding it throughout the colony. The art of advertising is fully exemplifie • in his factory as the get up of the G.G. Punch labels, show cards, hoardings, etc., are a work of art. The manufacture of G.G. Punch claims exceptional qualifications for his product. It is a beverage possessing a pleasant, palatable flavour,- and it is seasonable throughout the year. Tr those who are fond of teetota; beverages G.G. Punch may be taken as a liquer, or it may be added to any other beverage to which it will give tone and palate, it is also a drink that will quench the thirst immediately, and its heating qualities make it a sure cure for colds, indigestion, and minor ailments. In fact G.G. Punch may be described as a pleasant invigorating tonic, which mav be taken with relish by anyone. The proprietor is to be congratulated on adding another industry to Palmerston, for G.G. Punch has come to stay, and when put on the market it is safe to say it will meet with unqualified success.—Manawatu Times.
