Loan For Auckland.
Auckland, June 25
The Mayor, Air Myers, has returned from Sydney, having arranged a loan ot ' .{/Wo, ooo for waterworks extension in Auckland. He secured the loan at 4'4 per cent., free or exchange and commission. He received four offers from leading brokers in Sydney and Alelbourne to underwrite the loan at par at 4 per cent., which were refused ; ocher negotiations have been completed.
