A series of outrages upon women have recently been committed by an unknown person at Dannevirke. Several schools in the Wanganui district have been imparting physical culture to the pupils attending them, and recently the Wanganui Education Board ’ called for reports from these schools. All of the reports are satisfactory, indicating that since the children have been instructed in breathing exercises, there has been a marked improvement in their general health, and cases of colds are less frequent, and are more rapidly recovered from.
