French Elections.
Paris, May 22. The newly - elected French Chamber contains 246 Radicals Socialist Radicals, .77 Republicans of the left, 7 Dissident Radicals, 22 Independent Socialists, 53 Unified Socialists, 64 Progressive Royalists, Bonapartists, Liberals and Nationalists. The Government possesses a sufficient Republican majority to dispense with the iupport of the unified Socialists, fbe principal significance of the elections is the nation’s ratification of the Church and State separation law. The Chamber meets on ngrbne xst. [The last French Parliament comprised 219 Radicals and Socialist Radicals, in Ministerial Republicans, 49 Socialists, 99 Anti-Minister!'d Republicans. 50 Conservatives, and 59 Nationalists.]
