Trouble at a Gaol.
TWO MEN KILLED.
Shanghai, May 5
Fifty long-sentence prisoners at the municipal gaol at Shanghai, armed with tools and swords, attempted to escape. They wounded the governor of the gaol, named Blennersasset, and two Indian warders.
The governor shot a . noted brigand named Vayaomao dead. Another Chinaman was killed, and several wounded. The trouble was quelled.
