A DOCTOR’S MURDERER. St, Petersburg, April 30. Colonel Ermloy has been sentenced to four years with the disciplinary battalions. He admitted shooting Dr Vorobiev at Moscow in the presence of his wife and children, on the ground that he was a revolutionary, and deserved a dog’s death. FATHER GAPON. St. Petersburg, May 1. Father Gapon’s papers, showing that he had a large deposit in the bank, have been sent to a lawyer. Revolutionaries . declare that Russian secret police murdered Father Gapon to prevent him divulging secrets implicating high officials. It was reported in Russia last week that four revolutionary labourers hanged. Father Gapon after overhearing him trying to persuade a revolutionary leader to become a spy like himself.
