The coroner of ’Frisco estimates the deaths at about a thousand.

The Sonama’s mail for New Zealand has been diverted to the Vancouver route. Pekin, April 25. The Dowager Empress of China has forwarded .£30,000 for the sufferers by the recent disaster, besides a large sura for the Chinese victims.
