Foxton Tennis Club.
A meeting of the Foxton Lawn Tennia Club Committee was held last fight, there b-’ing present Misses-.GK ■.Va.nklv'l, L. Austin, fi. Symons and Messrs'A. D. Clemett, P.' Henneasy uml J. E. Marshall. 'Die mbintes h iving been read and confirmed the following new members wee elected :—Mrs Stiles and M ssi s Chisholm and Morgan. Owing to several member* being unable to get away to the Levin match next Saturday it was decided to postpone it, and that the secretary m ke arrangements for it to take place on Easter Monday. The time f>r the completion of the Tournament was extended to Saturday March 24th. After some discussion on the finances of the Club is was decided that-the banking account be discontinued and that the Secretary pay the amount due by the Club as soon a# sufficient funds are in hand. It was also decided to hold a Tennis Dance on Mav 23rd when the prizes won in the Tournament are to be presented-
