Cricket.
The meeting of the Cricket Association called for last evening fell through for waat of a quorum. However, as the business was imperative, those present consisting of Messrs Reade, Marshall, Shadbolt and Furrie constituted themselves a committee to arrange for the match against Levin at the Park on Saturday. The Levin team is to arrive early, and play will commence at 1 r a.m. Dinners will be provided for the visitors and Foxton players at Laing’s Family Hotel at 1 p.m., at which time an adjournment will be made. The following to represent FoxtonMessrs Nye, Whitchousc, Chard, F. Shadbolt, J. Bowe, W. Bowe, Campbell, Martin, L. Furrie, Stiles, J. Dunn. Emergencies—A. Reeves* Alex; Morgan, M. Royal, A. As we go to press, the Foxton secretary (1,. J. Furrie) received a telegram stating that it is impossible for Levin to visit Foxton on Saturday. •
