“Erin-go-Bragh.”
Ouce again it is our pleasing duty to announce that the popular Taylor-Carrington Co. visit Foxton to-night, on which occasion an entirely new and original IrishAmerican drama entitled u Erin-go-Bragh,” will be staged at the P ublic Hall, and as usual with the company’s productions, the manigeraent have had a complete set of new scenery and stage appointnents made especially for this presentment. The scenery includes some very striking and realistic stage pictures, chief of which are the scenes depicting New York Harbour by Night, Brooklyn Bridge, Castle Garden, &c. There is also some very fine characterisation in the piece, the inimitable Charlie Taylor sustaining no less than three distinct impersonations, appearing in the roles of a Dutchman, Irishman and a Chinaman. Miss Carrington appears in a successful creation, the Irish Colleen, from which the play takes its name “ Erin-go-Bragh." As the company’s name is a guarantee for a good night’s entertainment we have no hesitation in predicting a cordial reception.
