The Sydney Tragedy.
Sydney, February 2. The attack of the boy Thos. ■ Quinlan ■ was made with great ferocity, and Mrs Gregory has terrible wounds on her head and in many parts of her body. Quinlan also almost severed two of his own fingers. Some of Mrs Gregory’s jewellery was missed some days prior to the murder, and has also been clis-. covered in Quinlan’s room. There are indications that he planned the robbery, as he bought a sheath knife.
