GOOD HEALTH AND MOTHER S RIG E V S SYRU P ~ HOW A GEM EXPERT WAR (MIRED OF SEVER F IN DIGEST! ON.

There is no more hLhlv-respeeted resident of Brisbane (Queensland) than Mr Thurston Hall, diamond elassor and gem expert, who I ves at 22, Bowen Stmet. What Mr Hall cannot tell you about gems is not worth knowing. And he knows a great deal, also, about indigestion, and that greatest gem nrao'igst the world’s curative remedies, Mother Seigel’s Syrup. A great English poet has said that life’s most, precious gem is sound health. And seeing that everybody is more or less interested in sound health, how gained and how iv-tained, it may lie profitable to read tbi' story of Mr II >l'’s medical experiences. Homo five years or more have elapsed,” soys Mr Hall, in a letter that he sent to the proprietors of Mother Seigel’s Syrup on June 22nd, 1904, “since I’Was seized with a serious ill ness, and for two years I did not know what it was to bo w.-ll for a single day I lost my appetite entirely, was constantly depressed, and suffered greatly tr im insomnia. I ate barely enough to sustain life ; but the smallest quantity of food, of whatever kind, ahvavs caused a fulners of the stomach, and a tightness of the che'st which was most distressing. Often after a sleepless night I would get up feeling wretchedly ‘seedy,’ unable to apply nyself to anv matter. Frequent pains and palpitations of the heart led me to think that my hea- 1 was diseased, and tins idea had a most depressing effect unon me.

“ Another bad sympton was a persistent, hackin'? cough, which seemed to proceed from the stomach. I took many bottles of different cough mixtures for it; but the cough was so obstinate that at last I began to fear it would develop into consumption. Altogether I spent a large sum of money in medicines which I thought might help my general condition ; but it was all wa-tect, and for two years I failed to find anything which had the least remedial effect.

“ Ono day a pamphlet was left at ray house. It was about Mother Seigel’s Curative Syrup and its world-wide fame, with particulars of some remarkable cures it had recently made. I decided to try it, and was delighted by getting some immediate benefit. As I continued to take it, the severity of the heart pains declined, ray coughing ceased, and 1 could eat and sleep fairly well. Every day I grew healthier and stronger, until soon I became—as I am now entirely free of the ailments which had caused me so much trouble. It took only three half-crown bottles of Weigel’s Svrnn to achieve this vrand suit. ! now know that a : l my troubles resulted from chr nie, indigestion, and that only Mother S.-igel’s Syrup cured it.”
