Coopman and Young, of Smithfield, on a charge of adulterating •Colonial butter, were fined £2O on one count and 20s on another. The prosecution did not proceed with a case in respect to a box of Queensland butter. The AgentsGeneral are considering the advisability of instituting special proceedings respecting it.
