The Schools Exhibition at Wanganui.
NEXT MONDAY.
Complete arrangements have been made for conveying Foxton schoolchildren to the Schools Exhibition at Wanganui next Monday. Passengers leave here by the ordinary train on Monday morning, and are transferred to a special train on arrival at Palmerston North. Parents should strain a point and allow their children to join the party, as the exhibition is sure to prove instructive. Tickets for children are to Is lOd each, teachers 8s 7d, and these may be procured from Messrs Alf. Fraser (stationer), between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday next. Tickets for adults (7s 2d return) may be obtained at the railway station on Saturday next or on morning of departure. The teachers will probably go in charge of the children, though doubtless parents will take the opportunity offered, and thus aid teachers in the matter of responsibility, of which there seems little risk. Those purchasing tickets should take with them the correct amount to procure same.
