EOSS OF CROPS AND SHEEP.

Melbourne, Dec. 5

The potato crops in the Koweerup and Carran districts have been destroyed by frost, 20,000 tons being lost. The severe weather is also moving disastrous to shorn sheep. Thirty thousand perished in the Hamilton district, ten thousand in Beaufort, and many thousands elsewhere.
