Berlin, Nov. 23. General Booth, addressing 5000

ANOTHER AUSTRALIAN SCANDAL.

The report of the Public Service Board with regard to the payment of retired civil servants by previous administrations, revealed a scandal. Referring to the report in the House, Mr Carruthers, the Premier, stated that a sum of j£sOoo had been voted, and instead of being distributed among 160 applicants it was distributed among 30.
