PARENTS .SELLING THEIR CHILDREN. Tokio, Nov. 14. There are terrible sufferings in the famine-stricken districts of Japan. Some parents are selling their children at the rate of from is yd to 4s as servants. Many are mad with hunger. The peasants steal and eat horses, and gather roots to bake into cakes.
