The New Zealand Loan and Mer* V cantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows on Saturday’s sale :— There was a fair attendance of buyers, but speculation was not so keen as at late sales. Full woolled light conditioned, skins sold well, but heavy skins were lower by per lb, as also were all damaged pelted skins. We offered about 1600 skins, 23 packages wool* over 4 10 hides and calfskins and a quantity of tallow, and quote sheep* skins, merino, haltbred and fine cross* bred, 8£ to gd ; coarse crossbred, 8d to BW, dead skins, 5-Jd to ferior peled and short wool, $d to y|d ; green skins, 5s 6d to 8s each. Hides/' heavy ox, 4§d to sd; cqw hides from 4{id to 4sd; cut and slippy Sides firoin to 4d ; calfskins, to per lb. Tallowin tins from 15s to xßs 3d per cwtj casks, 19s to 20s fid per cwt.
