Foxton Rifle Club.

A meeting of the above Club was held at the Haywood’s Hotel on Tuesday evening. There was a fair number of members present. Mr Stiles was voted to the Chair. Resolved that (be annual meeting of Rifle Club be held at Laing's. hotel on Tuesday, aist November. Carried* Proposed by O. Austin, seconded by A. Morgan, That all trophies be presented at next meeting. Carried. Proposed by Also. Morgan, seconded by 0. Austin, That the Secretary be instructed to write the Council for a grant of to help do necessary work on the ranges. Carried. It was proposed that Secretary write Capt. Hartley re price of sliding targets. A vote of thanks to the chair, and also to Mr Haywood for the use of .his room, concluded the meetidg.
