The Panama Canal.
New York, October 25. Mr Raudolf, the consulting engineer in collection with thefPanama Canal construction works, expects that the Canal will be completed hi 1915. One hundred and twenty four thousand workers are required. It is estimated that adoption of the •ight-hour system would increase the cost by one fourth. Thirth million dollars’ worth of French machinery has been found to b» worthless.
