A meeting of the above was held at Perreau’s refreshment rooms last evening, there being present—Messrs G. H. Stiles (in the chair), W. Main* waring, L.E. Reade, F. Shadbolt, J. Bowe, J. E. Marshall, and the Secre* tary. . . The minutes of the previous meet* ing were read and confirmed. Mr O. Robinson, wrote accepting the office of President of the Associa* tion, and forwarding £t is:as a ' agnation. i , _ ■ ’ A book of rules was received from Mr F. E. Watson. The Secretary proposed, and Mr Stiles seconded, That on and after Nov. nth all playing members of the clubs in competition must be financial t to their respective clubs, and any club \ playing unfinancial members in com* petition after that date will be liable {o ukq ua lifi ca ti°n for the match in which ti»" sa id unfinancial members W Mfos?I?&le {foxtoa C.C.) and S. Shadbolt, Thai all matches played on Saturdays co»mence at and finish at 5-3® p.m. Carried; i On the motion of Mr Stiles, S|c* onded by |Mr Bbwe, if was decided that the boundaries of the Association from which players can be cbosep exteitd from northern boundary Motniti station, thence line to Coley & Stiles’ mill, from which river acts ap boundary to Wirokino bridge, keeping on this side of river, including Poplar mill, but not the Wirokino mill. The Secretary was appointed to the position of treasurer also, while Mcssrn R, Moore and J. F. Overend / were appointed auditors. Mr Furrie proposed, and Mr Shad* bolt seconded, and it was carried. That the captains confer as to the matter of postponement of matches. The rules of the Manawatu Cricket Association as received by the Com* mittee were adopted, on the proposition of Mr Stiles, seconded by Mr Furrie.
The drawing of the first round, resulted as tollowsOct. 25th, Debaters v. Foxton; Nov. 18th, Debater* v. Moutoa; Nov. 25th, Foxton v, ’ Moutoa.
