Love’s Doings.
London, Octebqr 21. William Retz has been sentenced to five years’ penal servitude for feloniously shooting Mrs Franks in her office at Ludgate Circus on September 6th. The crime was enveloped in mys/ tenons surroundings at the time, but correspondence which has since been produced revealed a love intrigue.
