Cattle: Heifers in calf £2 10s to £3 7s 6d, weaners 15s, yearlings 24s to 355, store cows 29s to £2 2s 6d, springing cows £s xos. Palmerston N.—Weaners 21s, yearlings 28s fid to 31s fid, mixed iB-mos steers £2 xos to £2 18s fid, 2 J-yr steers i>3 ns, forward cows £2 43 fid to £2 17s tid, fat cows £4 17s, springing cows £6 10s, fat bullocks £7 i7s fid.

Messrs Levin & Co. Report. We; offered tb-day 1000 skins, 800 hides, 20 bales of wool, and a quantity of horse hair and tallow. Prices for wool ruled firm at last rates. We quote— Good crutchings 6Jd to yd, medium crutcliings fid to 6Jd, interior crutchings 5 to s Jd. There was no fleece wool offering. We quote—Cows, light to medium, ras fid to 17s fid j heavies to 2is; ox, light to medium, 15s to 245; heavies to 275; calf skins to ss. The next sale will be held on October 13th.
