Montgomery's Famous Pictures.

, TO-NIGHT. At the Public Hall Foxton the above popular Company will appear to-night* Everything to be presented will be entirely new. A prominent feature of the entertainment will be an entirely new series of illustrated songs. The subjects are varied, being patriotic, pathetic, and sentimental. Included in the first are two quite new in the colony. They are> “A Soldier of Japan,” the illui'trillions of which are mainly thrilling battle scenes, in which the little brown man is at present engaged in the East; whilst “Lest We Forget,” will appeal strongly to the sons of the Empire; some of her greatest heroes being re* ferred to. “ The Man with the Ladder and the Hose,” and "The Mania the Overalls,” are sure to prove popular* the illustrations of each being taken from life studies, the former being illustrative of fire fighters at duty’s call* Included in the series will be several Sentimental ballads, including, “ Down in the Vale of Shenandoah,” " I’m try* ing so hard to forget You," and “If my wish c mid but come true,” which are oalcn) tied to especially please the lair sex. The picture slides are all bandpainted by English and American artists of repute and are said to be most artistically coloured. The moving pictures to be shown are all new subjects, many thrilling and amusing incidents belrg depicted with graphic realism. Comic songs, and other vaudeville turns will be freely interspersed between the pictorial exhibition.
