Montgomery’s Famous Pictures.
An entirely new programme of' moving pictures, illustrated songs, interspersed with music, mirth, and melody, will be presented by Mr Montgomery on his forthcoming visit here on Tuesday next. This enterproprietor has just receivedl from his London agents a large and costly collection of the very latest successes in moving picture films. Subjects of a humorous character will be strongly represented. Quite a champion in this direction is said tp be “ The Lost Child,” or “ One Touch of Nature," in which a. frantic mother is joined by almost the whole populace in a long and stern chase, revealing an incessant succession of thrilling and amusing incidents. Tremendous efforts ate put forth by many kindly disp )sed persons at risk of life and limb, and one requires to see the picture ‘to learn what success ot failure attended their efforts. This .film nightly convulsed 3000 people reCeinJy * n l>‘g Wellington Town Hall, all admitting that as a comedy sketch it stands quite unrivalled by anything previously exhibited in the colony.
