A London cable announces the death of Dr Barnardo, the cause of demise being heart disease. We understand Mr Bunt Cook, of the Railway Department, has been transferred from Wellington to Feilding.
Miss Grace Ngatuere, a popular young lady of Wairarapa, and a daughter of the once famous chief, Hoani Ngatuere, died of consumption last Sunday.
