The Post Card Fiend.
PLAIN SPEAKING BY A CORRESPONDENT. TO THE EDITOR OP THE MANAWATU HERALD Sir,—l read with pleasure your local in Tuesday’s issue re the postcards that are being circulated by “ Harold St. Aubyn,” and hope that the hint will have* the desired effect. The person who signs himself “ Harold St. Aubyn” was not satisfied with despatching cards through the post office, but must, with the assistance of a confederate as low as himself, hand disgusting post-cards to several respect aide young ladies. I may add that these cards would not be allowed to pass through the post office. I would also advise ,f Harold St Aubyn ” and his friends to “ take a pull,” for if there is any more of this, serious trouble will arise. It is a pity that this class of individual could not be severely dealt with bylaw, but perhaps “ Harold St. Aubyn ” will receive sufficient telling punishment indirectly. Thanking you tor space, I am, etc , Self-Respect. Foxton, September 21. 1905.
