Dr Rogers, lately of Foxton, has been appointed a public vaccinator for the district of Taibape. An old resident of Otaki, Mr John Robinson, died on Saturday last, aged 73 years. Colour - Sergeant Parkes and Private E, Scott, Palmerston North Rifle Volunteers, have been awarded tha long service medal The appointment ol Mr Alexander o’eese as a member of the Wellington Land Board is notified in the “ Gazette.”
