Section ig6 of the principal act (relating to the crime of assaulting girls between the ages of twelve and sixteen) is amended by repealing the words “ one month,” and extending the time in which a case maybe brought to six months. Power is given to clear the Court, and to for bid the report of proceedings in such cases.

The second reading of (lie Convicts’ Forfeiture Act Amendment Bill and the Destitute Persons Act Amendment Bill was agreed to.
