Rifle Club.
A meeting of the club was held last evening, Mr G. H. Stiles presiding. It was decided that ranges for the third competition for cun and trophies be 200, 500 and 600 yards, nominations closing on Satin'da}' next, July Bth and shooting to be concluded by 22nd hist- Trophies were allotted as follows;—Silver teapot (Dr G"nham’s donation) Ist, toast rack (Briscof Macneiland Co) 2nd. It was decided that Club rifles be left at the range after being used. The usual votes of thanksto the chair and to Mr Gr lyfor use of his room closed the meeting.
The following are the principal scores made in the second cup and trophy competition :
