RETURNS ASKED FOR BY MR VILE. M.H.R. Mr Vile. M.H.R. for Manawatu, is moving in the House: “ That there be laid before this House a return show ing the total receipts in detail of all port charges made by the Railway Department at the Port of Fexton tor the past five years. The .return to show the annual receipts from all merchandisc and coal landed at the wharf, whether for private individuals or the Government and the charges on flax, woo', sheep, cattle, and other exports, including pilotage, etc.; also, the expenditure incurred in connection therewith, such as dredging, pilotage, upkeep of wharf, and labour (clerical or otherwise.”
