McGregor (Wellington), G. Tyler, Nicholson and Seeling (Auckland) are not included as the selectors deem them certain of mclusion ip the (bam for Great Britain, NOTES, At a meeting ot th.cj Manawatu DRugby Union on Tuesday it was de’cided that steps'bb taken to stop anything in’ the way of betting on the football grounds under the control of Union. The committee also decided to give a points’ prize for competition at the annual sports. All tfte various clubs will be eligible for this competition, the winning club to fee .the one whose representatives secure the most, points in all the event* on the programme. It was decided to extend the time in which entries for the sports may be made till June Ist. A resolution was passed to the effect that no transfers to be granted this season.
