MacMahon’s Dramatic Co.
" LED ASTRAY." TO NIGHT. The return visit to-night to'Foxton cf such a powerful theatrical combination as MacMahon’s Dramatic Co. is as much as anything an indication of the town’s progress. To-day we find actors and actresses of world-wide standing tacking Foxton on to their lists as a town not to be neglected as a supporter of good Drama, and people keenly critical of what is placed before them. Foxton at all events, so Mr MacMahon informs us, has always paid handsomely as far as his firm is concerned, and the forthcoming production of “ Led Astray ’’ or “ The power of Love ” this evening should prove no exception. The play, which at the present time is enjoying extraordinary popularity throughout England and America, is said to be the strongest peice in the Company’s extensive repertoire. New and elaborate scenery and costumes will be brought into requisition, everything pointing to a notable performance. Front reserved seats may be obtained at Mr Fraser’s.
