A Novel Plan.
A CHURCH TRUST. London, May 16. The New York correspondent of the “ Daily Chronicle ” reports that J. D. Rockefeller, the American millionaire, proposes to create and finanj cially support a Church Trust, to consolidate competitive religions and further united religious work. The proposal is to be submitted to various denominations, and it is intended to convene a conference to discuss it.
