Hemp Grading.

The following information supplied by the Agricultural Department at the request of Mr J. Vile, M.H.R , is published by the Rangitikei “ Ad vocate; ” Department-of Agriculture, Wellington J, Vile, Esq., M-H R ,

“ Sin,—With refeience to your letter of 15th December last asking for a return in detail of the expenditure incurred in connection with the grading of New Zealand hemp, I regret the delay that has taken place in not replying to you earlier, but it waa due to the desire to supply you with the figur s for the financial year which were not available until now. 1 enclo e herewith a statement showing th '* expenditure and receipts for the past two years.
