The following should go near catching the judge’s eye at Wairarapa on Saturday next:— Hack Hurdles. —Bounce or Talune. 1 Easter.—Submarine or Variation. Wangaimoana.—Ziska or Rungarawa. Te Waka Welter.—Leader or Bonne Prince. Torohanga Hack.—Sardonyx or Declination. Wairangomal Handicap.—Sunfish. Makahi Hack. —St. Bill. AT FEILDING, At Feilding on Monday, good sport is sure to be witnessed, and my vote is for,; — Mangaone Stakes.—Black Reynard. Kawa Kawa Hurdlete.— Handsome Rose. Feilding Cup,—Flamen. Hack Hurdles.—Cassiopea. Orepuhi Welter, —Admiral Cerveras. Halcome Welter. —Joe Chamberlain. Onga Hack.—Sir Geraint. At Auckland, on Saturday, Auratus should score in the Easter, whilst Delamare may win the classical event. The Canterbury Easter and Autumn Handicaps are confined to southern horses. Messrs Fred Easton, in charge of Purdy, and Alf. Wright, in charge of Furneaux, left by train this morning for Tauherenikau. Owing to being unable to secure a box, Jim Symons had to remain behind until to-morrow, with Lord Soult. Haerere will not be a competitor at Tauherenikau, whilst Bourrasque is under the vets care.
