Foxton Athletic Club.

A general meeting of the Foxlon Athletic Club was held at the Racing Club’s office, Mr A. D. Clemett being voted to the chair. On the motion of Mr J. Frew, seconded by Mr J, Jillett, it was resolved that the club expend £25 (which is to be subsidised by £25 from the Foxton Borough Council) tor improvements to be carried out on the cycle track at Victoria Park. The resignation of Mr Endell Wanklyn was received, and Mr E. G. Sutherland was appointed secretary. The usual vote of thanks to the chair, and to the Racing Club for the use of the room terminated the proceedings.
