MINERS ENTOMBED. Ni;Vv York, April 4. Through an exposition at Joseph Leiter’s mine at Ricgler, Illinois, thirty non-unionists were entombed. It is reported that fifteen were hilled. The affair is suspected to he the result of an outrange. AFGHANISTAN. London, April 4. It is understood that as a result of Louis Dane’s mission Afghanistan doe* not obtain a port, but will receive ft definite guarantee against external attacks in return for unknown concessions. Apparently the Afghans are still hostile to railway concessions. ADULTERATION OF BUTTER. London, April 4. Large quantitities of colonial butter are being shipped to Holland and there mixed, in the proportion ot about 50 per cent., with a new adulterant hitherto undectahle by analysis. The butter is then reshipped to England, where it is sold as Dutch. By this means, a profit, of about thirty shillings per hundredweight is made. The Board of Agriculture is inquiring into the matter. lIMPERIAL PARLIAMENT. London, April 4.
