It is proposed to arrange another athletic meeting In Dunedin next month should Shrnbb agree to take part. Duffey has intimated his readiness for a return visit.

]. W. Furrie is competing at Stratford to-day. If in the same form as when here last November, he should win a couple of events at Masterfon on Friday, as he is handicapped with 8 in the 100, and 16 in the 230 events. Quite a number of Foxtonians are competing at Marton sports on St, Patrick’s day. Those handicapped are :—xoo Yards: L. Furrie, 2yds. 330 Yards: L. Furrie, 6yds. HalfMile : L. Furrie, 38yds ; J. McDonald, 45yds; R. Hickson, 50yds. One Mile : J. McDonald, 95yds ; R. Hickson, 100yds. Bracelet, 150 Yards t L. Furrie, 3yds. Dunn should about win a bicycle event at Awahuri. Len Furrie was handicapped rather harshly at that tnefeting by Mrßurbush in the pedestrian events, in consequence of which he may prefer to compete at Marton, where he is given better consideration. Surely Mr Burbush has not forgotten Furrle’e weak form at Foxton in November last ?
