MacMahon’s Dramatic Coy.

“THE SORROWS OF SATAN.’'

TO-NIGHT,

This immensely popular dramatic company, which is headed by that eminent actor and author (Mr George Darrell) appear in Foxton this evening in a brilliant adaptation of Marie Corelli’s notable work “ The Sorrow* of Satan.” This powerful play is said to be one of the most powerful and exciting plays in the company’s extensive repertoire, and a treat of rare excellence is in store for the huge audience which should fill the Hall to its utmost capacity. The MacMahon Company is certainly miles' ahead of any similar organisation which has ever visited Foxton, and the enterprise of the management in bringing such a fine combination to our doors should be held in high estimation by local theatre-goers. All the original scenery and effects will be brought into requisition to night, the.management promising something in the nature of a revelation. The Box Plan is on view at Fraser’s. The company have just concluded a phenomenal season of three weeks at the Opera House of Wellington, and proceed from here to Auckland for a like period.
