FRAUD, LONDON, Jan. 25. Herbert Bedford, J. A. Lowe (directors), and George Shead (auditor) have’ been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment by the second division for conspiracy and publishing false statements in the prospectus of Lowe, Sons, and Bedford. In the new Ministry, M. Etienne will take the office of Minister for the Interior ; M, Berteaux that of war; M. Gentil, deputy for Deaux Scores, Minister for the Colonies; Dr Dubief, deputy for the Seine et Loire, Commerce. Seven of the new ministers are without administrative experience.
