Foxton Rifle Club.

A meeting ot the above Club was held at the Post Office Hotel on Thursday evening, Mr G. Gray in the chair.

It was decided that the ranges be 600 and 700 yards for the final competition for the rifle. Messrs C. Pronse, F. Overend, A. Goldsack, and E. Ball were elected members.

On Mr J. Lyons proposition, it was decided that the secretary write to the Colonial Ammunition Coy. re prices o' ammunition and magazine -303 rifles. Mr G. Stiles proposed, and it was decided, that the secretary write to the Minister of Defencs offering to become a Defence Rifle Club if the Government is willing to accept. Votes of thanks to the chair and for the use of the room concluded the meeting.
