DRIVING JAPS BACK. Russian official despatches claim that General Eennenkampf drove the Japanese as far as Taitse, 50 Japanese being killed; also, during the skirmishing at Shaho, 25 Japanese were bayoneted. There are indications that the Russians are trying to regain the Yentai mines. There are 5 miles of continuous Russian and Japanese underground works from Kuiahinpu Table and the troops move about unseen, but - their voices are mutually audible in some places. ILLEGALLY SEIZED FLOUR. The Prize Court at St. Petersburg has released 6000 sacks of flour seized aboard the steamer Arabia, it having been decided that the Vladivostok Court’s decision regarding the sinking of the steamer was unjust. The German owners are claiming £39,000 damages.
