Messrs Levin & Go’s Eeport. We offered to-day 8500 skins, 160 hides and a quantity of bag wool and tallow. Skins met with strong competition md showed an advance of Jd on coarse crossbreds, and dead and in* ferior advanced |d. We quote;— Merinos, 7d to 7|d ; balfbredfi, 7d to 7fd; fine crossbreds, 7d to 7fd; coarse, 7d to 7Jd; shortwools, 6d to 6Jd; dead, 4£d to 6d; butcher’s green, up to 7s 9d each. Tallow.—ln casks, 19s; tins, 17s; rough fat, 12s to 14s. Hides —Prices remain steady. Cows, light, 10s fid; medium, 18s to 14a; heavy, 14s to 16s. Ox, light, 15a; medium, 18s to 225; heavy. 23s to 2fia. Wellington, 25th Nov., 1904.
