Hyland’s Circus.

To-morrow night the public of Foxton are promised a real good circus treat by Professor Hyland’s Troupe of first-class artists. Included in the bill-of-fare will be seventy horses and ponies, all well educated in equestrian feats. Six creamy ponies, trained and introduced by Miss Agnes Hyland, are spoken of as being really worth the price of admission themselves. The Flying Zalenas (five in number) do a very graceful aerial act, whilst the two Lapoles on the flying trapeze are artists of the first water. T. Hyland does a marvellous jockey act blindfolded, whilst the Hyland sisters rank amongst the best exponents of the Olympian acts. Six handsome piebald ponies go through a course of drill and waltzing evolutions which demand applause, and the clowns are said to be particularly funny. A strong band accompanies the circus, which is well worth a visit.
