Grand Catholic Bazaar.

+ The Fair continued to.do good business On Saturday night, when most of the articles remaining in the different stalls were disposed of by raffle or sale. The usual dances were gracefully executed, and brought forth well merited applause. To these yoUng people, also to the other artists who contributed vocally and musically, and to all who assisted in the success of the bazaar throughout, a measure of praise is due. Miss Ahearn should be mentioned as having attended to the mysteries of the bran tub. Mrs Quin and the Misses Levett deserve credit for their arrangement of Britannia Stall. Masters Levett executed the wood carving of the beautiful card table, which spoke volumes for their handiwork. The management wish to specially thank those coming from a distance to assist, particlarly Misses Hurley and Master Becker, Manakau. The names of Mesdames Sullivan and Ahern and Miss Edwards were omitted from those assisting at the refreshment stall. The financial.result must be pleasing to the energetic secretary (Mr J. T. Levett). THE SOCIAL. Arrangements are complete for the social to-night, which is open to the public. A good vocal programme is promised, and as the dance music will be supplied by a first-class string band, nothing should be wanting to ensure success. THE PICNIC. To-morrow there will be a riverexcursion picnic given exclusively to those who assisted at the Bazaar and to'whom special invitations have been issued. The management will take charge of the children, and parents can rest assured that every care will be taken of the little ones entrusted to them. The. steamer will leave the Wharf at 10 o’clock. Should the weather be too boisterous the picnic will be postponed tilt Thursday. BAZAAR PRIZE-WINNERS.
