Her .ladyship passed away on Friday last at Guisachan, Lord Tweedmouth s shooting lodge, in Strathglass, Ihvemeas-shire. Lady Fanny Octavia Louisa Spenoer-Churchill was married to Lord Tweedmouth in 1878. She was the third daughter of the seventh Duke of Marlborough and sister of the late Lord Randolph Churchill. She took an active part . in ; the social side of political work, and was one of the leading and most ' accomplished hostesses in London in connection with the Liberal Party. Possessed of many excellent qualities, and of singularly amiable disposition, Lady Tweedmouth won the esteem and admiration of those who met her either in public or in private.
