Rugby Union Ball.

Between sixty and seventy couple graced the Foxton Town Hall with their presence last evening, and tripped it gaily till the early hours of this morning. The floor was in splendid condition for dancing, and the music of the first class order. The hall was beautifully decorated with flags and evergreens, and this tended to lend pleasure to the evening’s enjoyment. A programme of some twenty odd dances was gone through under the management of Mr Bert. Dunn, M.O. The supper was supplied by Mr M. Perreau in his usual excellent style, and the music by Mrs F. Walls (piano) and Mr McKianie (cornet). The extras were played by Mrs Reeves. To the joint secretaries (Messrs J. Gillett and P. Jenks) much of the success is due. Both worked untiringly.
