FOXTON STATE SCHOOL.
The annual examination of the Foxtun school was completed yesterday by Inspectors Gray and Strong, with highly satisfactory results. The Inspectors’ report states that “ The examination this year shows that in all classes thorough and sound work has been done. The progress of the pupils, except in a few cases, has been very satisfactory.’’ In Standard VI certificates of proficiency were awarded to the following:— Boys.—Kenneth Easton, Eric Gray, Harry Hughes, Fred Jenks, Richard Speirs, William Spelman, and Cyril Wanklyn. Girls.—Ethel Coley, Hilda Cook, Nellie Edlin, Kate Spelman. Certificate of Competency—Godfrey Forster.
